OBITUARY
Madeleine L. Clark, age 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother “Nanny”, sister, and Aunt passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, surrounded by her family after a brief struggle with metastatic gallbladder cancer. Madeleine was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up on Long Island and graduated from the University of Miami in 1973 with a BA in Art Education. Madeleine was a home maker and also worked as a paralegal for her husband Alan’s law firm. Madeleine is survived by her adoring husband of 54 years Alan W. Clark, her sons Brandon and Rory, grandchildren Ava, Noa and Harrison, daughter in laws Alex and Devon, sisters Gloria and Andrea, brother Michael and 7 loving nephews and nieces. “Nanny” had an infectious laugh and was the matriarch that always brought the family together.

Dear Alan and Family,
We are very sorry to hear about Maddie’s passing. We have fond memories of her at the many Clark family gatherings over the years.
With Sympathy,
Jimmy, Amy, Brad, Marissa
She is the best nanny there ever was. She is already sorely missed. She’s the heart of the family.
We were blessed to become family through our children, and share grandchildren. Madi was so generous and thoughtful, and we cherished the time spent out east. Her beautiful entertaining made us feel so welcome. Madi will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories.
With love and sympathy,
Dana and Michael
