Dear Ira, Gail, Linda’s sons, and extended family,

I am sorry not to be with you physically at this difficult time, but I am thinking of you and grateful for the life Linda lived and shared. She was always kind and gracious to my parents and to my siblings and me and was a treasured reminder of the love her mother Miriam shared with us.

May God comfort you and bring her peace.

Dear Gus, Ira, and Linda’s sons,
We are very sorry that we cannot be with you today. Linda was the oldest of the Slotznick cousins and I always looked up to Linda with her beautiful smile and gracious manner. Larry especially enjoyed dancing with Linda at family simchas because she was a wonderful dancer. She was a model of grace under pressure as she faced the difficulties that life presented at times. May she rest in peace, may her memory be for a blessing and may you her closest loved ones be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
Love,
Carolyn and Larry

To Ira, Gail, to Linda’s sons:

Linda, I remember, taught me how to pick blueberries in the Catskills a million years ago. She was the lovely firstborn of all our cousins. Her parents, Aunt Miriam and Uncle Phil Eisenberg (the only Kohen in the family) had the most traditional home, and I always felt comfortable there. I remember being graciously hosted in their Jewel Avenue home when, as a high school student, I found myself stranded late at night in their part of town. Talking with Linda was always a pleasure, and Shifra and I regret that we had so little contact over the last many years. When our son Binyamin named our granddaughter after Aunt Miriam and Aunt Susan, Shifra called Linda to tell her, and she enjoyed a memorable conversation with dear Cousin Linda. Now, Ira remains with the legacy of kohen, and all the family with memories of a beautiful, special woman. May all of you be comforted among the mourners of Zion, may you have good health, Jewish nachas and happiness in the future.
