Always enjoyed spending holidays at Dena & Josephs with her. She was always laughing, smiling and taught me how to be well prepared for leftovers by BYO Tupperware! A bright light gone to soon. May you rest in eternal peace. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Our deepest sympathy on Karyn’s passing, to her family, friends and co-workers. She loved to laugh with her friends at work and will be missed by all.

I was Karen’s neighbor for five years, and she was the best neighbor. I loved running into her in the hallway because what started as a quick hello would usually turn into us standing there talking about our lives for an hour. She always had a funny or crazy work story to tell, and she would always tell me how proud she was that I got my second degree. It was always nice to see her around the building, and she made it a friendlier place. I’ll miss our conversations, and she’ll be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to her family.

I was her co-op Neighbor and Friend for 32 years, the one she called, ” Ho-H0 ” . We were known in the Building as ” KK and HO-HO “.. She also called me ” Grandma “, because I was 16 years older than her and hard-of-hearing….to be honost, I really didn’t like that, but how can you stay mad at KK ? ! I am angry because our building did not post a notice of her passing, which they usually do…I only found out now from our doorman. If I had known, I would have attended the service, shown in the video I just watched, and would have asked to be one of the Speakers. I would have told of our first meeting, which was in the elevator! She was so excited about moving into her beautiful 2-bedroom apartment, and invited me in to see it. So off the elevator we went, into her Beautiful Movie Museum ! That’s what started it all, 32 years of Mutual Interests, Confidences, and Gossip !
I’m going to miss it all, especially the Gossip !
