Joan Kamin was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 29, 1934, and passed away on her birthday, January 29, 2026. She was the daughter of Molly and Harry Bloomfield and married Martin Kamin on February 13, 1954. Joan’s children are Jack (Rina), Meryl (Jeffrey), and Roni (Charlie). Her grandchildren include Monique (David) Seruya, Morgan (Abraham) Sultan, Arielle (Ralph) Labaton, Margo (Albert) Hanan, Harris (Maggie) Galitz, Margaux (Ben) Gust, Jake (Olivia) McGuffog, and Kelly McGuffog. Her great-grandchildren are Ronnie, Jack, Barbara Seruya, Norma, Violet, Rina, Morris, Grace Sultan, Alan, Jeanie Labaton, Mila, Hudson, Eloise Galitz, and Tyler McGuffog. She is also survived by her brother Stan (Susan) Bloomfield, niece Melissa, and Melissa’s children Emily and Max. Joan loved her family dearly, always remembering birthdays and special occasions. She found peace by the ocean, gazing at the horizon and waves. Known for her great sense of humor, she was cherished by her friends and family and will always be remembered with fondness and love, forever in our hearts.
