Harvey Miller passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 87.

Harvey was born in Brooklyn, New York to Sam and Kitty Miller, raised in Laurelton Queens and met the love of his life Judy who he was married to for 57 years. Harvey and Judy raised their family on Long Island and Harvey has resided at the Atrium Village in Owings Mills, Maryland since October 2022.

Harvey graduated from City College of New York and went on to have a career in advertising, first starting as a Commercial Artist and then eventually forming his own advertising agency, Phillips, Miller, Speyer and Frost on Long Island for over 35 years.

Harvey had a passion for boating and being on the water which ultimately led him to volunteering at the Coast Guard Auxiliary based on Fire Island for over 35 years. During that time he won numerous awards. He was most proud of receiving the Association For Rescue at Sea Silver Medal, the highest Auxiliarist honor possible after helping to rescue seven people from a burning barge during a 2021 July 4th fireworks display.

Harvey is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Karen, her husband Ken and their children Melanie and Ben, his loving son Randy, his wife Susan and their children Jason and Samantha, his sister Barbara, her husband Mark and his

nephew Stefan and his niece Marcy who predeceased him, his brother Ronald, his wife Carol and his nieces Lisa and Deborah and his two great grandchildren Ryann and Brooks.
