OBITUARY

Estelle Finkel Teitelbaum was born March 17,1929
in the Bronx to two loving parents who adored her,
and she them. When her two younger brothers came along
she cherished them as well. Estelle grew to be a striking
beauty of great wit. While it was not typical in her day
for a girl to pursue a college education,
she got both her bachelors and a masters degrees.
Her long career as an English teacher inspired the
many students she taught . She met and married
the love of her life Sol Teitelbaum and raised two
daughters who adored her.
They were married almost 50 happy years.
Her kindness and generosity of spirit and sense of
fun brought her many friends throughout her life.
She will forever be remembered for her irrepressible
wit and willingness to always look on the bright side.
Ever the optimist, Estelle believed that the cup was always half full.

We will miss our lovely lunch dates to China Lane. You were and always will be thought of as a kind and thoughful lady. You are the last of the generation of brothers, sisters and spouses. We will keep you in our hearts. Love, Audrey and Jack
