Following the interment, family and friends will return to the Cohen residence at 31 Whitney Ave in East Norwich. Shiva will be observed thru 7pm and resume on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm

OBITUARY
Ellen Cohen, (Maldover) surrounded by her family, peacefully passed away on February 24th, 2026 at 83 years old.
Beloved wife of the late Ira Cohen and devoted Mother of Adam (Renie) and Jason (Donna).
Also survived by five loving grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Ziggy, Ikey and Matthew and two granddogs, Chase and Sandy.
Ellen loved to travel with her beloved Ira until his passing in 2007, Cruises were their favorite thing to do.
She loved to read, her favorite author was James Patterson, going to the movies and watching her favorite show, the Grammys.
Ellen was still working up to the age of 81! She loved talking with the patients at the dental office and made many lifelong friends with her coworkers.
Mom will be forever missed and will always be in our hearts.
