Dear Shari, Dan, Jason:

I have no words. Richie was such an amazing man. A gifted physician, a great mentor to Gary. A wonderful friend to Herbie. While I haven’t seen you guys in over 20 years (when Dan was touring with the Scooby Doo musical) I have so many fond memories from my childhood and teens of all of you. I wish we could all be there in person to share your grief, but we will be at the service thanks to the wonders of modern technology which my parents — oddly, never embraced. We are all very deeply sorry for your loss, and the strain you endured the last few years.

With all our love,

Joyce, Herb, and Amy Kabinoff

I loved Richard. He meant so much to me and my parents. He was a true friend and a mensch. May his memory be for a blessing

Dear Shari, Daniel, Jason
It is we deep sorrow when we found out about Richard.
He was the best dad, husband, neighbor and friend.
When I heard about Richard passing away,
I could not help reminiscing the times eating lobsters with Richard and Larry.
Now that a case for the three amigos.
But Richard had never demonstrated his surgical skills, until he removed a splinter from Regina‘s finger, on the patio table in your backyard.
We always loved you guys!

Dear Shari and family,

We just finished watching the moving service for our dear cousin. Dan’s eulogy was very touching and funny and brought to mind so many cherished memories. It was wonderful to share this loss with so many who loved and cared for Richie deeply. We’re sorry we couldn’t make the trip in person but appreciate the opportunity to participate from afar.

With much love and deep condolences,

The Harrises (Bobbie, Norm and Julie) and the Whites (Loryn, Jason and Neo)

Dearest Shari,
It has been many, many years but it doesn’t feel like time has passed this quickly. We want to express our sincere condolences from Mill Basin (Bergan Beach)….. If we can go back in time and still be going to “Sound Body”……
When Richard would jog around the neighborhood and all we worried about was what to eat and what not to eat.
You two were very dear to us. Jimmy passed away 2 years ago… we were married 63 yrs. … It is not easy and your loss is great. Hang in there, my dear….. May you get through this time with comfort from your family and friends…..Please take care of yourself.

Dear Shari and family Please accept my condolences on the passing of my mentor and friend Richard Fogler . He was my chief resident and then my director of surgery at Brookldale He was the most gifted surgeon I ever scrubbed with. His teaching sessions were brilliant and always left us laughing. .Please let Daniel know that he gets his performing talent from his father. I was honored to be his friend. He was a very special influence in my life. I am reminded of him frequently when I see Daniel’s commercials on SNY when I watch the Mets games.
