Wellwood Cemetery is but a moment away from our chapel, eliminating the long, difficult to follow procession after the funeral service.

Included in the service Star of David provides is coordination with the cemeteryin making all the necessary burial arrangements.  There is no need for you to contact Wellwood Cemetery directly. When needed, we will also secure any permits required by Wellwood from whichever society administers the grave to be used.

Wellwood Cemetery Information:
If you call the cemetery office, they will pick you up at the Long Island Railroad station and take you to and from the cemetery. ~ Merna Strassner

Wellwood Cemetery is south of Beth Moses Cemetery, and east of Wellwood Ave, Patton Ave borders the south side and Little East Neck Road on the east end. Wellwood is maintained by the Wellwood Cemetery Assocation.

Long Island Expressway EAST to Exit 49S.  Follow service road to Pinelawn Road (third light).  Turn RIGHT and continue on Pinelawn Road which becomes Wellwood Avenue 3 1/2 miles to cemetery.

From Brooklyn & Nassau County (South Shore)
Belt Pkwy EAST - (Turns into Southern State Parkway in Nassau Country)
Southern State Parkway EAST to Exit35 to Wellwood Ave.
Proceed North to Wellwood Cemetery on right


From Eastern Long Island (North Shore)
Long Island Expressway to Exit 49 North.  Follow service road to traffic light.  Turn left on to Pinelawn Road (Wellwood Ave.). Follow to cemetery on left.
