This Isaiah casket is made from poplar wood. It has been sanded but not lacquered or stained. It has a fabray (crepe) lining, straw bedding, a lid that slides off rather than being hinged, and a Jewish star on the foot end of the lid. If you select the Isaiah for a graveside service, our fees will total $5595. This excludes third party charges (cemetery fees, Rabbi’s honorarium, death certificates, gratuities) and additional items you might choose (tahara/shomer, shroud, limousine, newspaper notice, etc.) If you elect to have a service in our chapel prior to the interment service at the cemetery, there is an additional charge of $500. Please note this casket has been designed for situations where the grave is narrower than ordinarily found (due to certain cemetery conditions). As such, it is only available in a more narrow width than a standard size casket which may render it unsuitable for certain people.
